Single storey extensions
These simply extend the existing ground floor further out into the land surrounding the property. With one wall adjoining the original structure, we place the new space at the side or rear of the home, or a combination of both. Unsurprisingly, single-storey extensions have a smaller construction cost when compared with double-storey alternatives. With less materials and labour combined with a shorter construction time, single-storey additions make the ideal solution for those on a smaller budget.
